Manuscript Consultations

Would you like support with your writing project?

I can help!

As a published novelist and award-winning writer of short fiction, I love partnering with other writers to help them realize the potential of their work.

I’ve been a teacher for many years. Currently, I teach fiction writing in online workshops, with the Community College of Baltimore County, and with Baltimore Bridges, a program for inner-city high-school students. I’ve also been a teaching fellow at the Kenyon Review Writers Workshops, a mentor in Adroit Journal‘s summer program for high-school fiction writers and poets, and an assistant editor at Bartleby Snopes literary journal.

What I offer:

Line/Copy Editing

Structural/Developmental Feedback

Maps for Future Works

For manuscripts of any length

For larger works, such as novellas, novels, and story collections

For incomplete projects which you are struggling to plan

“You are a creative, supportive, and highly knowledgeable professor, writer, and woman. You have a wonderful way of giving revision crits while boosting us up. I need you to know that you literally changed my life. You are teaching me how to write while inspiring me. Because of you I can call myself a writer.”

– Sandra Perez, writing workshop member

Sound Good?

Use the form on the right to contact me and tell me about your manuscript. Once I hear from you, I'll reach out to schedule a free 30-minute conversation to talk about your project, your goals for it, and how I can help you.

Then, I will send you an estimate of the costs for your project and you can decide if you'd like to move forward with me.

I look forward to reading your work!
